Violence Ends With Us
Our story
In November 2024, governments across the Asia-Pacific joined global leaders at the 1st Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children in Bogotá, reaffirming commitments to child protection and meaningful youth participation. The launch of the Global Youth-Led Movement on Ending Violence Against Children underscored that sustainable progress requires young people as equal partners in designing and driving solutions—not only as participants or advisers.
Across the region, young people are already organising, advocating, and creating safer spaces online and offline, yet these efforts often remain disconnected across countries. With the Philippines taking on ASEAN Chairmanship in 2026 and hosting the 2nd Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children, there is a strategic opportunity to connect youth leadership and link it more meaningfully to regional and global policy action.
Violence Ends With Us is being convened in response to this moment. As a regional youth-led platform, it brings together children, young people, and survivors across the Asia-Pacific to connect, strengthen advocacy, support youth-led solutions, and ensure youth leadership is not only visible, but meaningfully integrated into shaping what comes next.
Purpose
To build a youth-led movement that prevents and responds to violence against children across the Asia-Pacific by amplifying survivor voices, shaping policy, and equipping communities with the tools to protect their young people.
Future
A world where every child and young person is free from fear, free from harm, and free to reach their full potential — where violence is not inevitable, but ended, by us.
